The Danish architect of the iconic Sydney Opera House, Jorn Utzon, has died at the age of 90, after suffering a heart attack.

I just mentioned this at your previous post and then it just reared up in my face.
ReplyDeleteThe actions of the NSW Public Works department, in regard to Utzon and his vision, were criminal, and the blame is on Robin Askin (later Sir Robert)who is unfortunately better known for yelling "run over the bastards" from the open car he was in with the President of the USA, when it encountered anti-vietnam war demonstrators.
